والدین کے ساتھ حسن سلوک — قرآنی رہنمائی
والدین زندگی کا سب سے قیمتی سرمایہ ہیں۔ ان کی خدمت اور عزت صرف اخلاقی ذمہ داری نہیں بلکہ ایمان کا اہم حصہ ہے۔ قرآنِ کریم میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے والدین کے ساتھ نیکی اور حسن سلوک کا حکم دیا ہے تاکہ معاشرہ محبت، عزت اور خیرخواہی سے بھر جائے۔
"اور والدین کے ساتھ بھلائی کرو"
(سورۃ البقرہ 2:83)
یہ حکم ہمیں یاد دلاتا ہے کہ والدین کے ساتھ ہمیشہ محبت، نرمی اور خیرخواہی کا سلوک کیا جائے، چاہے وہ جوان ہوں یا بوڑھے، قریب ہوں یا دور۔
"ان سے اُف تک نہ کہو اور انہیں نہ جھڑکو، اور ان سے عزت کی بات کہو"
(سورۃ الاسراء 17:23)
یہ آیت واضح کرتی ہے کہ والدین کو کبھی بھی تکلیف دینے والا لفظ نہ کہا جائے، حتیٰ کہ معمولی سی ناراضگی بھی ظاہر نہ کی جائے۔ ہمیشہ ان سے عزت اور نرمی کے ساتھ بات کی جائے تاکہ ان کے دل خوش رہیں اور ان کی دعائیں نصیب ہوں۔
"والدین کی خدمت جنت کا دروازہ ہے، اسے کبھی بند نہ کرو۔"
Kindness to Parents — Quranic Guidance
Parents are the most precious treasure in a person’s life. Serving and honoring them is not just a moral responsibility but a vital part of faith. The Holy Qur’an commands kindness and respect towards parents so that society may be filled with love, dignity, and goodwill.
"And be good to parents"
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:83)
This command reminds us to always treat parents with love, gentleness, and goodwill, whether they are young or old, near or far.
"Do not say to them even ‘uff,’ nor rebuke them, but speak to them a noble word"
(Surah Al-Isra 17:23)
This verse teaches us never to utter a word of irritation to our parents, not even the smallest sign of displeasure. We must always speak to them with respect and kindness so that their hearts remain happy and their prayers continue for us.
